I was going to use the RoRo service but after a few days they said would I like to use a container at no extra cost. Very nice offer. Overseas car shipping RoRo shipping is the most preferred and the most affordable way of shipping cars (saloons and 4×4’s), mini-buses, vans, tractors, trucks and agricultural equipment from the UK to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

How Are You Charged?

With RoRo, the vehicle is only charged for space they occupy on the vessel. These ships have ramps that enable the vehicle to be driven on or off (Hence the term RoRo – Roll on Roll off). RoRo vessels are often known as floating parkings.

Personal Effects

While we do not recommend loading personal effects with RoRo, this can be done at the shipper’s own risk and expense. Personal items are much safer when shipped via container shipping. If you plan on loading personal items into your car however, please let us know when you make the enquiry.

20 Ft or 40ft Container Shipping to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

Sea freight containers Container shipping is a way to export your car by loading & lashing your car then shipping the vehicles either via a 20ft or 40ft container.

The container is then closed, sealed and lifted onto the ship. While this may be more expensive, container shipping offers a much safer way to ship cars to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania compared to RoRo shipping as it is only your vehicle in the container and it is opened at destination.

Additionally, by using container shipping, you can ship personal items as well in your container or within the car.
